Virginia M.  Buckaloo, 77, Stevens Point, WI, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI. 

She was born October 14, 1936 in Freeport, IL to Herbert B. and Margaret V. (Kline) Klatt.  Her family moved to Dixon, IL in 1946 where she graduated from Dixon High School in 1954.  After graduation she attended the University of Illinois.

She married Roger S. Buckaloo Feb. 5, 1955 in Dixon.  After their marriage they lived in Rockford, IL for many years until moving to Stevens Point, WI in 1986.  She worked as an antique dealer operating Buckaloo’s Antiques and running the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point antique show for many years.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church and the Wisconsin Antique Dealers Association.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Buckaloo; two sons, Terence (Julie) Buckaloo, Dixon, IL and Clint (Mary) Buckaloo, Paris, TX; three grandchildren, Chris Buckaloo, Trudy (Brandon) McGill and, both of Paris, TX and Jeffrey (Heather) Buckaloo of Sherwood, AR; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bonnie (Klatt) Freeman and one great-grandson.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Boston Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Hintzman officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon, IL.
