John J. Heagle, age 55, of Plover passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.  John had fought a courageous 9 month battle with esophageal cancer.
A mass of Christian burial will be held for John at 11:00 AM on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover for which Rev. Monsignor Jeffrey D. Burrill will officiate.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:30-10:45 AM with services following at the church on Wednesday.  Shuda Funeral Services is assisting the family.
John, the son of Valroy and Pauline (Enders) Heagle, was born May 30, 1958 in Neenah, WI.  He graduated from Laona High School and earned his degree in Industrial Mechanics from Fox Valley Technical College.  John married Debra Jean Waller on October 12, 1985 in Oshkosh, WI.  John’s career included working as a Journeyman Millwright for many companies such as Boldt Construction Co, Bemis Co, IMS and Kimberly Clark Co.
John enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, building bird houses and family time on Silver Lake.  John also enjoyed watching his nephew, Colten, play football at NDSU and looked forward to the annual hunting trips to the Ponderosa.  Most of all, John loved being with his family and his pride and joys, his grandsons!
John is survived by his wife, Debra, and their two children:  Kari (Andrew) Hoff and Jacob Heagle.  Grandson, Cayleb, and step-grandson, Rexton.  His mother, Pauline Heagle, sister Valori (Jeffery) Sohrweide, and brother, James (Heidi) Heagle.  He was preceded in death by his father, Valroy.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.shudafuneral.com
