Variety of Artists to Perform at UWSP

A wide array of musical groups will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point this spring, sponsored by the student-run Centertainment Productions.

The following concerts will be held at 8 p.m. in The Encore at the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve Street, Stevens Point, free of charge with a UW-Stevens Point or Mid-State Technical College student I.D. Community members may attend for $5.

  • · Thursday, April 3 – Mutts, a grunge band out of Chicago, with opening acts The Hi Matics and Salvador Matador from Stevens Point.
  • · Friday, April 4 – Space Capone, a funk artist from Nashville, Tenn., with opening act The Trendy Trendy Space Vegans from Minneapolis
  • · Thursday, April 10 – Crunchy Kids, a hip-hop group from Minneapolis, with opening act Michael Medall, a hip-hop artist from Madison
  • · Saturday, April 12 – Ackryte, an electronic artist from Minneapolis, with opening act LBN667, a Milwaukee electronic group
  • · Saturday, April 26 – Dead Horses, a folk-grass group from Oshkosh, with opening act Lazydeadpoet, a folk group from Madison
  • Saturday, May 3 – TEKNiCOLOR, an electronic artist from Madison
  • · Friday, May 9 – Juiceboxxx, a hip-hop artist from Milwaukee

Centertainment Productions (CP) welcomes community members to most events and strives to provide an array of educational and entertaining opportunities, including concerts, movies, comedians, and lectures.
