Taste of Wine and Cheese Coming April 4

A Taste of Wine and Cheese is coming April 4.
The Boys and Girls Club of Portage County is holding its 10th annual fundraising event in the Noel Group Hanger at the Stevens Point Municipal Airport- Mattson Field from 7- 10 PM. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased at the Boys and Girls Club, 1007 Ellis Street, or online at bgclubpc.org.
The event offers more than 100 varieties or wine and cheese, as well as fruit, bread and oil. Desserts will be available from @1800 as well as handcrafted beer from Stevens Point Brewery, O’so Brewery and Central Waters.
Event organizers say they’re hoping to raise more than last year’s $85,000 from some 800 attendees.
Raffle prizes include Green Bay Packers tickets, 18 holes of golf for four at the Wisconsin River Golf Club, a gift basket from Grazies Italian Grill and a $1,000 cash prize.
Silent auction items include an autographed Avengers movie poster, an autographed Johnny Cash Poster and an autographed Bruce Springsteen guitar
