“I’m officially declaring victory.” -4th District Alderman Mike Wiza, joking two hours before the polls close.

City-Times Staff

As expected, the Stevens Point City Council will remain the same.

All five candidates for the Council are incumbents. Joanne Suomi, 2nd District Alderwoman; 4th District Alderman Mike Wiza; Alderman Jeremy Slowsinski from District 6; 8th District Alderman Tony Patton and Alderman Mike Phillips of District 10 were the only individuals to mount any type of campaign run the seats on the city’s representative council.

Final vote counts will be published when we have them.
