Ashley Marie (Krutza) Kressin, 25
Ashley Marie (Krutza) Kressin, 25, Stevens Point, died peacefully, unexpectedly at home on Tuesday April 1, 2014. She was born on December 6, 1988 in Stevens Point.
Ashley is survived by her husband, Steven James Kressin and her 22 month-old son, Ryan James. She was the precious daughter of Michael and Bonnie (Wojtalewicz) Krutza.
Ashley’s beautiful smile and contagious laughter will be dearly missed by all, especially by her husband. Steve and Ashley were high school sweethearts and married on July 10, 2010 and resided in Stevens Point. She loved spending time with her family and many friends and enjoyed reading, snowmobiling, shopping and games with friends. As a child she loved working with her dad making picnic tables and cross-stitching bibs and baby blankets with her mom. Ashley loved taking photos of those she loved, especially of her son Ryan.
Ashley attended Plover-Whiting grade school, Ben Franklin Jr. High and Stevens Point Area Senior High, graduating in 2007 with high honors. She attended Mid-state Technical College. She has been the Customer Service Manager at Wal-mart for the past five years, and previously at K-Mart. Over the years she has permanently touched the lives of so many people.
Ashley left us pregnant with Briana Lynn who we all look forward to meeting in Heaven one day. Ashley will be greatly missed by her parents, maternal grandmother Laura (Firkus) Wojtalewicz, paternal grandparents Greg and Sharon (Weinberg) Krutza, her father-in-law James Kressin, mother-in-law Julie (Robert) Worzella, sister-in-law Becky Kressin and brother-in-laws Alex Worzella and Nick Worzella. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ashley and Briana were welcomed into Heaven by Steve and Ashley’s first unborn child, by her Grandpa Alois Wojtalewicz, who she had a special relationship with and loved his potatoes, and by her aunt Kathy Krutza.
