Genevieve E. Schroder, 102 of Stevens Point died Thursday evening, April 10, 2014 at Ministry- St. Michaels Hospital.

Genevieve was born January 14, 1912 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Josephine (Schultz) Mancheski. Her marriage to Peter P. Schroder took place on June 10, 1935 at St. Peters Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Her husband preceded her in death on August 25, 2002.

Genevieve worked for Laszewski Plumbing, Stevens Point Journal and St. Michaels Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of the St. Peters Rosary Society Rose 50. She loved entertaining and having company, and was the best pie maker ever. Survivors include one granddaughter, Susan Schroder of San Diego, CA, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be 1:30 P.M. Monday April 14, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Family and friends may call from 12:00 Noon at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peters Church until the time for mass.
