Updated: Power Outages Mostly Resolved in Point, Whiting

All but three customers have had their power restored after a Sunday night outage, according to Wisconsin Public Service.
Wisconsin Public Service reported about 8:30 PM on Sunday that 258 households were without power in Stevens Point and Whiting. The outages were reported along County Road HH as well as part of the McDill Lake District.
By 9:45 PM, the number of outages in Stevens Point had climbed to 277. The cause of the power outage has not been specified but a Twitter post by WPS indicates it could be weather- related.
Over 3,600 additional outages were reported in Wausau.
