Chronic Wasting Disease has been found on a game farm in Rosholt.
Wilderness Whitetails had a buck test positive for CWD last November. A doe was found to carry the disease when it was killed in February.
Only a single fence enclosed the hunting ranch, according to the Dept. of Natural Resources, so there is a chance wild deer could have come into close contact with infected deer on the farm.
The DNR will test samples from wild deer killed in the 2014 hunt in an effort to see if the disease is spreading in the wild.
