The Sorenson for Sheriff Committee has announced the start of the Sorenson For Sheriff “Meet and Greet” campaign. Several locations throughout Portage County have been selected for Sorenson meet area residents and discuss issues important to the community.

Sorenson is running as a Democrat and is one of four residents who have announced intentions to run for County Sheriff in the November election.

Those attending will have an opportunity to show their support for Sorenson by signing his nomination papers, obtaining yard signs, purchasing t-shirts and making donations to support Kevin Sorenson for Portage County Sheriff.

The following dates and locations are the first round of “Meet and Greets” scheduled throughout the community.

April 25, 2014             6:30 – 8:30 p.m.          Dollar Bills, 158 N. Main St, Rosholt, WI

May 2, 2014                6:30 – 8:30 p.m.          Pete Metallo’s, 2727 CTH K, Custer, WI

May 4, 2014                2:00 – 4:00 p.m.          Lettie Jensen Community Center, 487 N Main St, Amherst, WI

May 16, 2014              5:00 – 7:00 p.m.          Central Waters Brewing Co., 351 Allen St, Amherst, WI

May 23, 2014              6:00 – 8:00 p.m.          Lakeside Bar, 736 Old Wausau Rd, Stevens Point, WI
