Photo of the Day: Centerpoint Marquee Reduced to Rubble

Construction crews last week removed the electronic marquee sign which stood outside the Centerpoint Mall and for years gave passersby information on store hours, visits from Santa Claus and other community events.
The property on which the signs stood is owned by the Stevens Point Redevelopment Authority.
A new 5’x10′ reader board sign for Mid-State Technical College, created and erected by Stratford Sign Company, will be raised nearby but across the property line. The new sign will measure 5′ x 10′.
