Suspicious Activity: A 63 year- old man reported suspicious activity near his County Trunk X home at 5:59 PM. Deputies determined a work crew was checking for roadway repairs.
Landlord v Tenant: Police were called to a County Trunk D home in Plainfield at 3:14 PM after a 43 year-old man reported problems with his tenants, ages 35 and 36.
Facebook Harassment: Police were contacted after two parents, ages 44 and 39, reported seeing harassing messages on Facebook at 6:57 PM.
Suspicious Man: A 66 year-old woman reported seeing a suspicious man on Walkins Court in Whiting at 4:13 PM. The called told police she thought the man could be a door-t0-door salesman but requested extra patrols along the street.
Electrical Fire: Authorities were called to the Wilshire Dr. home of a 63 year-old man who reported an electrical fire in his home at 10:31 PM. No major damage or injuries were reported.
Domestic Disturbance: Police were called to an Oak Lane Court home after a 31 year-old woman reported a 29 year-old man was being verbally abusive at 1:58 AM. The man and woman were separated for the evening.
Loudest Muffler in Town: A 60 year-old woman called police to report ongoing problems with her neighbor’s noisy muffler at 4:55 AM.
April 28
Missing Child: A 26 year-old woman called police to report her 3 year-old child was missing at 11:21 AM. The women found her child inside the Julie Lane home soon after.
Possible Child Abuse: Deputies were contacted by someone suspecting child abuse in a Main St. home in Amherst Junction. A welfare check was conducted but no further information is currently available.
