Gubernatorial Candidate to Hand Out KKK Hoods

Brett Hulsey says he plans to hand out white Ku Klux Klan hoods to Wisconsin Republicans on Friday.
Husley, an assemblyman from Dane County, says the move is designed to underline what he says are racist attitudes and policies among the conservative party. He displayed one hood in the press room of the state Capitol on Thursday, which he said he made using his daughter’s sewing machine and curtain material. He told reporters he would try to hand out the hoods during a state convention Republicans were holding in Milwaukee.
State GOP executive director Joe Fadness called the move a “reprehensible, vile stunt”.
