Flags at Half- Staff Tuesday, Thursday

By order of Governor Scott Walker, all American flags and State of Wisconsin flags shall fly at half-staff on Tuesday, May 13 in honor of former Governor Patrick Lucey, who passed away Saturday at the age 96.
Lucey, a Democrat who also ran as an independent for vice president of the United States in 1980, went on to become Jimmy Carter’s ambassador to Mexico. He also helped create the UW System after pushing to merge the state college system with the University of Madison.
Lucey also was a WWII veteran.
