Frank J. Haka age 88, of Stevens Point passed away Tuesday morning May 13, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family and under the care of Ministry Home Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 16, 2014 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. Jerzy Rebacz will officiate. There will be a private burial at the St. Stephen Cemetery, Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church Friday.
In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice is appreciated. Shuda Funeral Service is assisting the family.
Frank was born May 27, 1925 in Stevens Point, the son of Alois and Helen (Slagowski) Haka. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1944. Frank married Helen Bandow on July 19, 1950 at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Together they raised four children. Frank worked for the Chevrolet-Cadalliac auto dealership in Stevens Point for 63 years retiring in 2008, the majority of those years as their parts manager. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Frank is survived by his children: Ken (Jean) Haka, Waukesha; Louise Siglin, Oak Creek; David, Plover; Paul (Dina) Haka, Plover. One sister Cornelia (Corky) Klish, Stevens Point. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen in 1993, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
