Darlene M. Aldrich, age 49, of Stevens Point, died May 1, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI.

Darlene was born April 24, 1965 to Carl & Dorothy (Olson) Aldrich in Stevens Point, WI. She grew up there, attended the local schools and obtained her HSED from Mid-State Technical College in 1997.

She married Clarence L. Davis Jr. on October 19, 1985. They separated in 1989.

Darlene dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, fishing, and writing poetry.

Darlene is survived by her significant other, Gilberto Lira of Stevens Point; children, Curtis (Holly Martin) Aldrich of Neenah, WI, Stephanie (William Wilson) Davis of Owatonna, MN,  and Deanna (Jonathan) Rodrigues-Bella of Northfield, MN; grandchildren, Caleb Martin, Holden Aldrich, William Jr., Isaac, Kane, Princess Davis-Wilson. She is further survived by her mother, Dorothy (Olson) Aldrich of Minocqua, WI; nephew, Mark Kluck of Amherst, WI; sisters, Carlene Okray & Judy Ryan; brother, Gary Aldrich; and many nieces, nephews, & cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Aldrich; sister, Diane Aldrich; and former husband, Clarence Davis Jr.

Burial will be held, 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Plover Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to come and share memories of Darlene with the family. Online condolences may be made at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.
