Sex Offender Registry Widens Search Options

The state sex offender registry website is now searchable by address, according to a release by the Department of Corrections.
The public has been able to search the registry by name or zip code since 2001, but now a search can be made within a 1-3 mile radius of specific addresses. The search results include details on registered sex offenders who have already been convicted.
