UW-Stevens Point, City Firefighters Train Together May 21

As part of annual safety training, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point staff will join the Stevens Point Fire Department for a confined space exercise this week.
The on-campus training will be Wednesday afternoon, May 21.
Following a table-top exercise at the Stevens Point Fire Department, campus facilities staff and Stevens Point firefighters will participate in rescue training exercises at UW-Stevens Point. The training will occur at a heating plant boiler and a steam pit so they can practice vertical and a horizontal rescue. The steam plant will be shut down during this time.
