Stewart “Stew” A. Trull, age 82, of Stevens Point was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 23, 2014 at North Crest Assisted Living in Stevens Point, WI. Mr. Trull was born March 5, 1932 in Waupaca, WI to the late Austin and Geraldine (Beam) Trull.

Stewart was raised in Waupaca and graduated from high school in 1950. In 1954 he finished two years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He married. He went on to graduate from the Stevens Point Teachers College. The majority of his teaching career was spent at Antigo Junior High enlightening students in Biology and Earth Science retiring in 1993. He partnered in a painting business during summer months. His second marriage occurred on June 28, 1975 to Leila (Reiter) and has celebrated 39 years together. Through his many years of life he enjoyed teaching science, fly fishing, and astronomy. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and deer hunter. His interests include re-upholstery, crafts, puzzles, and was known for his covered clothes hangers. Many of these activities were enjoyed with family and friends. He assisted his wife with travel and technical support for numerous Christian speaking and singing events.

In August of 2008 Stew and Lila moved to Stevens Point to be close to family. Stewart was a member of Antigo Community Church involved in AWANA, senior fellowship group, and various men’s studies. More recently he attended Woodlands Church in Plover, WI.

In addition to his wife, Leila, he is survived by his children including Tim (Judy) Trull of Manawa, Thomas Trull of Manawa, Tara Anderson of El Paso, TX, Tracy (Deb) Trull of Coon Rapids, MN, Troy (Rhonda) Trull of Antigo, WI and Teri (Phil ) Barker of Stevens Point, WI. As well as 2 step children Christine (Robert) Rennie of Stevens Point and Michael (Linda) Ronk of Temple, TX. Multiple grandchildren which includes Morgan (Jeff) Kubashl of Milwaukee, Victoria (Victor) Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, LoEna (Vorry) Moon of Sierra Vista, AZ , Gregory Anderson of San Antonio, TX, Paul and Luke Barker of Stevens Point, and Joshua Trull of Antigo. Step-grandchildren including Jeffrey (Laurie) Ronk of Austin, TX; Joanna Lambiase of Temple, TX; Sharilyn Rennie of Glen Elyn, IL, Peter (Carolann) Rennie of Plover, WI and Megan Rennie of Milladore, WI, Dustin and Darren of Coon Rapids, MN. He also has multiple great-grandchildren and step grandchildren including. Stewart was preceded in death by a grandson and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on May 28, 2014 at Shuda Funeral Home, 3200 Stanley St, Stevens Point, WI 54481. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service at Shuda Funeral Home. A private, family interment will held at Pleasant View Cemetery, Wild Rose, WI.
A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established in his name.
