Plover police have released the name of a man arrested after a violent attack sent another man to a Marshfield hospital.
32 year-old Andrew Pray of Plover was arrested shortly after 2 PM on Monday after police were called to his Cedar Drive home to assist with a domestic disturbance.
Plover Captain Gary Widder called it a “stepson, stepfather type of relationship”.
As a result of the incident this afternoon, Widder said the male victim sustained blunt force trauma injuries and was airlifted to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He is currently listed in critical condition.
The victim’s name has not being released but Widder said as of 9 AM Tuesday, the man was still in critical condition.
Widder said Pray was taken into custody without incident. He said Pray faces initial charges of attempted intentional homicide, aggravated battery/intent great bodily harm and felony battery. Pray remains in Portage Co. Jail.
