Heritage Days to Return to Historical Park

Heritage Days is returning once again to in Plover.
The annual fund raiser takes place June 21 & 22 from 10 AM- 4 PM at Heritage Park, located on the corners of Washington Street and Willow Drive.
The event is free but donations are accepted.Special guests include members of The Engford Family Circus, who will showcase their family home, which is part of the historical park, known as “The Circus House” and containing artifacts from their circus days along with family history.
The family will also consider requests for a special swing on the porch, give tours in the family caravan and discuss the downfall of the “Bigtop”.Archives performances from the circus will be shown and costumes will be on display.A miniature circus, created by the Kachel Family, will also be on display.
Restored farm implements will be on display and all park buildings will be open for tours. Children’s activities and food vendors will be on site as well.
Volunteers of all types are invited to run away to the circus for a day and be part of the fun and fantasy. Contact Julie Richards at 715.344.7023 and we will use your talents or train you for what you choose.
