Paul P. (Peter) Klish, of 1916 Minnesota Avenue in Stevens Point, died late Saturday May 24, 2014 peacefully at his home.

Paul was born January 19, 1932 in the Town of Carson. He was the son of the late Peter and Tessie (Lodzinski) Klish. He attended local schools.

His marriage to Dolores Walkush took place on October 19, 1953 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. His wife Dolores preceded him in death on March 20, 2013. Paul worked for Lullabye Furniture in Stevens Point for a number years before working for the City of Stevens Point in the street sanitation department until his retirement in 1994.

He enjoyed Polka music, feeding the birds and wildlife and taking care of his wife’s cat Ace. His most precious time was spent with family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include one son Kenneth (Lottie) Klish of Plover and one daughter Kathleen (Randy) Krayecki of Stevens Point. Two granddaughters Angie Klish and Kirsten  (Cody) Worzalla and three great grandchildren Kamryn, Aires and Gage. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, two Brothers Edwin and Gregory and four Sisters Grace, Evelyn, Gertrude and Jennie. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point.
