Susan L. Aeby age 72, of Stevens Point passed away Tuesday morning May 27, 2014 at Wellington Place.

Sue had been residing at Wellington the past five years, and had been living with the effects of Alzheimer’s for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sue will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday May 31, 2014 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. Jerzy Rebacz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 AM to the time of service Saturday at the church, prior to Mass. A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established for the Alzheimer Association.
Sue was born May 28, 1941 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Don and Maureen (Shipway) White. She graduated from Eau Claire Regis High School in 1959. After a courtship that started when they were both 16, Sue married James Aeby on June 17, 1960 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Eau Claire. The couple settled in Stevens Point where they raised their family. Sue enjoyed long walks, golfing, and traveling. She loved holidays and organizing family events. She volunteered her time at the Portage County Home and with Meals on Wheels.
Sue is survived by her husband James, Stevens Point. Their children: Troy (Deb) Aeby, Plover; Tricia (Rich) Kitterman, Savannah, GA. Four grandchildren: Lance & Leah Aeby and Cassie & Austin Kitterman. Mother-in-law; Treva Aeby, Stevens Point. Her brother and sisters: Nancy (Bob) Larsen, Stevens Point; Bill White, Woodruff; Mickey (Nancy) White, Stevens Point; Dawn (Jeff) Marsh, Cambridge; Dana (Doug) Quam, Merrimac; Dan (Nancy) White, Byron, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Richard and Patrick.
