Welfare Check: Deputies responded to reports of a 47 year-old man walking along the side of the road near Highway 66 and County Trunk Y at 12:54 AM. Deputies discovered the man was wanted in Marathon County.
May 28
Attempted Break-In: A 29 year-old man called police to report someone attempted to break into his vehicle while it was parked on Mary Jane Drive at 12:49 AM. Estimated value of damage is unknown.
Theft: A 32 year-old woman reported to police at 5:52 PM that a 30 year-old man known to her stole a phone and digital camera from her Jordan Road residence. Estimated value of the loss was not immediately known.
Following Too Close: A 24 year-old man crashed into a vehicle driven by a 49 year-old woman at 8 PM while traveling on Highway 66. The man was cited for following too closely. No injuries were reported.
Threats & Harassment: Sheriff’s deputies interviewed several individuals after a 37 year-old woman reported stalking and threats being made at a Portage St. residence in Almond at 9:04 PM.
