Flood Advisory Issued for Much of Portage Co.

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for western Portage Co., including Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Junction City and Whiting.
The flooding is expected to be minor and in urban areas near streams and low water crossings, but a direct result of heavy rainfall across the area over the past 48 hours. Residents are asked to use caution in areas near bodies of water.
The advisory lasts until 4 PM Monday.
