The theme for this year’s 4th of July Parade will “Broad Stripes and Bright Stars”.

The 13th annual parade will be held Friday, July 4th at noon and will follow the customary parade route, west on Main Street from Associated Bank through the Market Square. 

Area businesses and organizations, including musical groups, dance teams and creative community members, are invited to participate.  If you would like to participate in the parade, registration forms are available at stevenspoint.com/parade.

To help offset the administrative costs for coordinating this event, there is a $25 registration fee for each unit, which must be included with the returned registration and release forms.  Forms may be returned either by mail or in person to the City Parks Department, 2442 Sims Avenue, Stevens Point. 

The parade will be limited to the first 65 entries received.
 
The deadline for signing up for the parade is Thursday, June 19, 2014.
