Hunter Safety Course Offered

The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is offering a Hunter Safety Course beginning July 14.
Classes will be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 14- 17 and July 21 from 4- 7 PM. A field day will be held on July 19 from 7-11 AM at the Dewey Range.
The afternoon classes will be held at the Jensen Center at 487 North Main St. in the Village of Amherst.
There is a $10.00 fee for this course and anyone 12 years of age and older may attend.
