Ministry to Offer Breast Cancer Screenings
For the City-Times
One in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, but when the disease is diagnosed early, the five year survival rate is 98%. It’s time to add “breast cancer screenings” and “mammograms” to the list of things to discuss.
The Ministry Breast Care Center team believes that one good way for that to happen is to talk about it. Join us for a free evening presentation on Breast Health and the importance of screening mammograms using 3D technology on Monday, June 16, 5:30 pm, 2nd floor Conference Rooms 6 – 7, Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital, 900 Illinois Ave.
The Breast Care Center at Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital was the first in the area, over a year ago, to have this advanced technology and continues to lead the way.
5:30 pm: Registration, health info booths, and refreshments
6 pm: Presentation: Speakers – Clare Cullen, APNP, Christopher Swiecki, MD and Erik Borgnes, MD
7 pm: Tours of 3D Tomosynthesis Unit
