Ministry Warns of Billing Scam

Officials from Ministry Health Care are warning of a potential patient billing scam.
Ministry received a complaint from a patient who had been receiving collection letters from a company identified as NCC Common Wealth collecting on debt from one the company’s hospitals, with a letter including phone number of 570-347-1115. According to a press release form Ministry on Wednesday, the phone number is associated with a number of scam alerts.
Ministry Health Care does not use this firm for any kind of revenue collection or billing processing. Should you receive a call from NCC Common Wealth regarding a patient bill please contact Peggy Schley, Collections Manager at 920-628-9675.
