Cruz G. Rodriguez age 22, of Stevens Point passed away Friday June 13, 2014 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Cruz will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Stanchik will officiate. Private burial will take place at a later date. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point. A Bible Vigil will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 9:00 – 9:45 AM at the church prior to services.
Cruz was born October 7, 1991 in Stevens Point, the son of Guadalupe and Veronica “Ronni” (Tepp) Rodriguez. He attended SPASH, and has worked at Taco Bell, O’SO’s, and currently at PSSI in Plover. Cruz loved nature, the outdoors, music, and video games.
He is survived by his parents, one sister: Bianca Rodriguez, Stevens Point; 2 brothers: Sam Rodriguez, RI; and West Rodriguez, Sheboygan. His girlfriend: Korey Eckelstafer, Stevens Point. Maternal Grandmother: Martha “Marty” Tepp, Stevens Point; Paternal Grandmother: Irene Rodriguez, MN; Niece Addy and nephew Joey.
