Wisconsin History Tour, Two Authors featured on WPR’s Route 51

This Thursday, June 19th, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 welcomes two authors who are featured in the Wisconsin History Tour, which is making its first stop at Wausau’s Woodson History Center this week.
Host Glen Moberg will interview architectural historian Jim Draeger, author of Wisconsin’s Own: Twenty Remarkable Homes; and broadcaster Jessie Garcia, author of My Life with the Green and Gold: Tales from 20 Years of Sportscasting.
Draeger is also the author of Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries. Garcia hosts The Mike McCarthy Show, and has spent most of her career covering the Green Bay Packers. The Wisconsin History Tour is stopping in eleven different cities and communities across the state over the next year.
