Alan was born December 9, 1956 in Stevens Point, the son of George and Delores (Shopinski) Matke. He graduated from SPASH in 1974. Alan enjoyed woodworking, fishing, biking, animals, playing cribbage, and doing crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his 3 daughters: Alison Matke, Stevens Point; Jewel and Emealeah Matke, both of Almond. His mother Delores Matke, Plover. 3 sisters: Linda Matke, Stevens Point; Kathy (Mike) Borchardt, Stevens Point, Patty (Jim) Austreng, Plover. He was preceded in death by his father.
