Portage County Crime Stoppers is looking for someone who was involved in the apparent beating death of a puppy which occurred in Jordan Park off Highway 66.
According to Sgt. Mike Lukas, the dead puppy was found by a couple walking through the park on June 8.
“They saw six puppies huddled around one dead puppy,” Lukas said in a statement. “The puppies appeared to be a Boxer- Mix breed. The dead puppy appeared to have been beaten to death and the remaining puppies were left for dead.”
Lukas said five of the six puppies have since been adopted and are all healthy.
