Two Pacelli High School graduates from the Class of 2014 were chosen to play among ten men in the 36th Annual WBCA All-Star game.
Isaac Elliott and Brett O’Sullivan were chosen by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association to play in the June 22 game, which benefited the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Fund. The duo played for the North Team at the Justagame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells, but ultimately lost the game 82-75.
Todd Kuckkahn, president of the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools, said the boys and their families should be proud.
“It is very rare to have two players from the same team participate in the All-Star game,” he said.
Elliot led the North in scoring and steals, while O’Sullivan was tied for first in rebounding. Earlier this season, Elliot was selected to the first team all-state and O’Sullivan was an honorable mention.
In the fall, Isaac will be attending and playing basketball at UW-Stout and Brett will be attending St. Norbert College.
