June 19
Driving Drunk to the Park: A 37 year-old woman was arrested for her seventh OWI at 11:45 PM while at Galecke Park in Plover.
Arrested for Bogus ID: A 20 year-old man was arrested at 6:30 AM on charges of presenting a revoked driver’s license, as well as citations for speeding, operating while revoked, failing to stop at a stop sign and operating without proof of insurance at Main Street and Illinois Avenue.
Paint Vandals: Police responded to a residence on the 1200 block of North Point Drive when a 59 year-old man reported at 7:29 AM that someone threw paint on his home.
Arrested for Speed: A 29 year-old woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine at 10:17 PM Thursday near Church and Division streets.
Mailbox Fatality: A 63 year-old man reported at 7:55 AM that someone damaged the mailbox at his Edminster Road home.
June 20
Disturbance:Police were called to a home on the 1400 block of Torun Road after someone reported a disturbance at 3:20 AM. The Portage Co. Sheriff’s K-9 Unit was also dispatched.
Broken Foot: Deputies were called at 10:28 AM when a 45 year-old man broke his foot during a disturbance in a home on County Trunk EE in Bancroft.
Dog Bite: Police were called to a Sixth St. home at 3:20 PM after a 55 year-old woman was bitten by the dog of a 37 year-old man. The woman was sent to urgent care and the case was referred to the Portage Co. Human Society.
Landlord V Tenant: Deputies were called to the scene of a Main St. home in Rosholt after a 53 year-old woman reported problems with her 35 year-old tenant, also her son.
Medication Theft: A 37 year-old woman reported someone stole medication from her Rolling Hills Road home in Custer at 6:33 PM.
Crash: A 53 year-old man and a 31 year-old man were involved in a two-car crash near I-39 and Highway 54 in Plover. Minor damage but no injuries reported.
June 21
Stuck in a Ditch: A 59 year-old man accidentally got his vehicle stuck in a ditch near Highway 66 and Brilowski Rd. North at 2:44 PM. The man and his two passengers, a 53 year-old man and a 59 year-old woman, were unharmed.
Bad Boyfriend: A 41 year-old man reported threats and harassment involving his 17 year-old daughter’s boyfriend from a residence in Almond at 8:15 PM.
Turn Your Bright’s Off: A 57 year-old man was warned by deputies after failing to dim his headlights while driving on County Trunk J at 11:05 PM.
June 22
Window Damage: A resident on the 100 block of McDill Avenue reported someone smashed a window on their home with a baseball bat at 5:22 AM.
