Perhaps the wind was blowing just right- or maybe a strange alignment of the planets- but a barrage of softballs sailed over the outfield fences on Miller Field at Zenoff Park during Thursday night’s SPSA Jugger League play.
Matt Dana, playing for Papa Joe’s was named the Stevens Point Softball Association/Cousin’s Subs Player of the Game, going 3 for 3 at the plate including three homers and eight RBI’s.
The schedule for June 30-July 1 includes make-up games in several leagues. The schedule also takes a one week mid-season break for the Independence Day holiday.
