July 4th Parade Set for Friday

A sea of red, white and blue will descend upon Main Street in Downtown Stevens Point on Friday for the 13th Annual 4th of July Parade, which begins at noon.
The parade takes place during the annual Riverfront Rendezvous at Pfiffner Park, which kicks off Thursday night with food tents opening at 5 PM and music starting at 6:30.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Broad Stripes and Bright Stars”. The parade route travels west on Main Street from Associated Bank through the Market Square.
