Two men received minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, thanks to a drunk driver at Center Street and Michigan Avenue.
The Stevens Point Police Department is reporting a 21 year-old man was arrested on drunk driving charges around 4:30 AM Sunday after he ran a stop sign and crashed into a semi-truck. The truck driver told police he tried to swerve but was unable to avoid the crash.
The semi-truck crashed into a utility pole in front of a Michigan Avenue residence, damaging the pole and part of a residential fence.
Both men suffered minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.
