SPFD Captain Jeff Davis said Johnson has been very supportive of the department, allowing firefighters and EMS personnel to conduct training on the business’ property, and also towing wrecked vehicles to and from other training sites. Earlier this year the department conducted fire safety training involving a burning vehicle and rescue training from overturned cars- both stages and controlled sites with the help of Johnson Towing.
Mayor Andrew Halverson was in attendance for the presentation, as well as several firefighters and paramedics.
“It’s just a small way to say thank you for all they’ve done for the department,” Davis said.
