Accidental Weapon Discharge: Police responded to a home on the 800 block of Songbird Lane at 12:42 AM after someone reported a .45 caliber pistol was accidentally fired. No injuries were reported.

Fuel Theft: A 36 year-old woman called police at 4 PM to report she believed $230 worth of fuel had been stolen from the 3500 block of Stanley Street.

Bike Thief on the Loose: Police took a report from a 29 year-old woman who said her bicycle was stolen from the 100 block of Division Street. Value of the bike is unknown.

Prescription Drug Theft: A 30 year-old women reported to police at 12:31 PM that medication had been stolen from her Forest Drive residence.

 July 16

OWI, 2nd Offense: Police arrested a 59 year-old man at the intersection of Arlington Place and Church Street at 2:01 AM. Charges include operating while intoxicated, second offense, failure to obey a stop sign, operating a vehicle without insurance and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

Prescription Drug Theft: A 56 year-old woman reported someone stole her medication from a residence on the 3200 block of Church St. at 9:45 AM.

Fleet Farm Thief: A 32 year-old woman was cited after Fleet Farm employees said she tried to take a knife from the store at 11:25 AM.

Dog bite: A 20-year-old Stevens Point woman told police at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday that she was bitten by a dog in the 1500 block of Illinois Avenue.

Breaking the screen: Police responded to a report of a 29-year-old Plover woman crashing though a screen window at 1:38 a.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Water Street.
