$4,000 in Park Vandalism Force Police to Ask for Leads

Stevens Point police say they’re looking for information on two incidents of vandalism which took place at Zenoff Park Softball Complex.
According to a news release from Sgt. Tony Babl, sometime on the evening of May 17 someone vandalized several plastic and wooden tables, as well as umbrella stands, which were thrown off the upper deck of the concession area. A second case of vandalism took place sometime during the weekend of June 27-29, when tables were damaged in the same manner and several garbage cans were knocked over and damaged.
The estimated value of the damage is over $4,000.
Police have been unable to make headway in the case and are now asking the public for assistance.
