Public Wishes Sought on Tomorrow River Trail Master Plan

The Portage County Park Commission will take public comment the future of the Tomorrow River State Trail master plan during a special public meeting on Thursday, July 31 at 5 PM in the Jordan Park west picnic lodge, 1770 Co Hwy Y.

The Commission will discuss possible updates to the plan, which was first develpoed in 1997. Public uses of the recreation trail, permitted times and seasons of use and management of the trail will be open for discussion.

The 24- mile trail runs from Plover to Manawa and is used for biking, hiking and horseback riding during the summer season, and snowmobiling, cross country skiing and dog sledding during the winter
