Letter: Grubba Knows Value of Civic Service

To the Editor-

Voting for sheriff is an extremely important civic responsibility; you are electing the chief law enforcement officer for Portage County.

Experience has in most cases led to quality leadership. Review the resumes of the four candidates running for sheriff- Jim Grubba’s 34 years of leadership speaks for itself.

Although recently retired from the department he is being called back to duty because of his highest priority- “the safety and security of all of the people in Portage County”.

We have known Jim Grubba for many years, socially, personally and professionally. His integrity has never been questioned.

For the most qualified leader vote Jim Grubba for Sheriff on August 12th.

Ralph and Carol Banke
Stevens Point.
