Multiple Units Respond to Roadway Accident

Multiple fire and police crews responded Thursday night to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the northbound lane of I-39 between exit 161 and the Highway 66 east ramp.
The roadway has been reduced to a single-lane while crews investigate what caused at least one vehicle to leave the roadway around 9:30 PM. Fire crews, Portage Co. EMS and several sheriff’s deputies are on the scene, as was Johnson Towing.
The Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office currently is not releasing any details, or if there were any injuries.
