Harriet married Louis Angelich of Oconto, WI and they made their home in Stevens Point since 1957. She was a 5th grade teacher at Washington School for twenty-five years before retiring in 1987. After retirement they “wintered” in Weslaco, TX and had a cottage at Lac Vieux Desert which they frequented often.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Gustke of League City TX, sister Anita Hilgenberg of Green Bay, nieces Peggy (Brent) Crabb; Polly (Dean) Christian: nephew Curt (Mary)Hilgenberg and several other nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother-in-law Gene “Duffy” Hilgenberg and many other in-laws.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 AM at St. Stanislaus on Saturday August 9, 2014 Stevens Point. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until time of service. The Rev. Tom Lindner will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain WI at a later date.

The Family wishes to extend special thanks to the Harmony Living Center staff for all their compassionate care, Heartland Hospice Alliance and all others that provided care.

Harriet was a very dedicated and dynamic teacher, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up with the Washington School Library. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.shudafuneral.com
