Martha J. Wisniewski, 56
Martha J. Wisniewski, 56, of Custer went home to be with her loving savior Jesus Christ with her family by her side on August 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.
She was born in Milladore on July 24, 1958 the daughter of the late George and Joyce (Braunsky) Mancl. Martha was happily married to Raymond R. Wisniewski on May 15, 1982.
Martha attended SPASH and graduated in 1976. She worked at Donaldson Company for 23 years. Martha loved and adored her family (including Bennie the dog) and selflessly put them and others before herself making sure everyone was cared for. She was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking, baking, planting her beautiful flowers, feeding the birds, and watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Martha took great pride and effort into everything her gentle hands had touched and accomplished. Martha had so much enthusiasm for life and a friendly smile for everyone. She touched the lives of many as she was so generous and giving. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her loving husband Ray of 32 years; proud daughters Gina (Craig) DeLisle, and Sara Wisniewski (fiancé Nathan Gorell); Granddaughter Lauren DeLisle; Six beloved sisters, Carol Kowiewski, Shirley (Jerome) Derfus, Judy (special friend Larry Jackan) Mancl, Diane Greiner, Sara (Rhody) Lazare, Charlene (David) Neinfeldt; and two beloved brothers, Ronald Mancl, and Gerald (Diane) Mancl and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her sister Marlene Scheel; father-in-law Raymond Wisniewski; and brother-in-laws Tom Kowieski and James Weiss.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 16, 2014 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore. Rev. Rev. John Ofori-Domah officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday at the Shuda-Plover Funeral Home in Plover. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. The family has requested that no flowers be sent, they wish a memorial be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the American Heart Association.
