Lukas’ Lead Grows Slightly

Mike Lukas continues his lead against fellow frontrunner Kevin Sorenson in the Portage Co. Sheriff’s primary.
Lukas has strongholds in Buena Vista, Stockton, Almond and wards 25-27 of Stevens Point and wards 1-3 in Plover.
As of 11:57 PM, with 24 precincts reporting, Lukas had 1,589 votes, followed by Sorenson at 1,415. James Grubba continues his spot in third with 1,176. Candidate Rob Golla has garnered 134 votes.
