Margaret M. Czerwinski, 95,

Margaret M. Czerwinski, 95, of Stevens Point, died Friday morning, Aug. 15, 2014, at the Stevens Point Care Center.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1919, in Stevens Point, to the late Joseph and Magdaline (Bukowski) Stachowiak. She was married to Thomas Czerwinski on June 30, 1937, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Thomas died on March 5, 1979.

Margaret had worked in housekeeping at both the Whiting Hotel and Holiday Inn for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie (Wayne) Bialas of Stevens Point; son, Norbert (Marlene) Czerwinski of Stevens Point; grandchildren, Michael (Nichole) Bialas, Todd (Kimberly) Bialas, Kevin (Kay) Czerwinski and Curt (Angela) Czerwinski; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Tyler and Kathryn; and her sister, Sr. Madelyn Stachowiak, SSJ-TOSF.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

The family thanks the staff at both Heartland Hospice and the Stevens Point Care Center for their care of Margaret.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday morning at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, from 9:00 a.m. until the time for Mass. The rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. For online condolences, please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
