August 16

Inattentive Criminal: Police responded to the 900 block on Main Street at 2:10 AM after someone reported a disturbance created by a 19 year-old man. The man ran from police and then into a squad car. He faces charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

Grumpy Old Men: Police were called to the home of a 75 year-old man at 8:52 PM

Not Friends Anymore: Police were summoned by a 29 year-old woman at 4:32 AM after she discovered a guest in her Bush Street home had taken several pieces of jewelry valued at $1,000.

Fleet Farm Thief: A 44 year-old man was cited after he tried stealing several grinding discs from Fleet Farm at 3:43 PM.

August 18

Suspicious Vehicles: Someone reported two vehicles near the Burbank Rd/Old Highway 18 train tracks at 12:58 AM. No further information was available.

Wrong-Way Driver: Police issued a warning to a 24 year-old woman for driving the wrong way down the street at the intersection of Ellis and Division streets.

Mailbox Fatality: A 63  year-old man reported his mailbox had been damaged, possibly being struck by a passing vehicle, in front of his Greenbriar Avenue home at 8:30 AM.

Bail-Jumping: A 27 year-old man was arrested for jumping bail at 3:18 PM.

Mailbox Fatality: A 52 year-old man reported damage to the mailbox in front of his Cabernet Court home in Plover at 4:21 PM.

August 19

Noisy Neighbors: A 27 year-old woman called police to report loud noise coming from her 42 year-old male neighbor’s home at 3:50 AM. Police told the man to keep the noise down.

Mailbox Fatality: A 48 year-old woman reported $80 in damages to the mailbox in front of her Ridgeland Way home in Custer at 6:47 AM.
