Letter: Scott Walker is a Good Man
To the Editor-
Every day media outlets across Wisconsin report on the issues facing our State. In some cases fairly but, unfortunately in other instances there is a definite bias toward one or another candidate in a particular race. It’s left to the voter to educate themselves and that, in fact, is how it should be.
However, I’m writing not to express my opinions on issues such as jobs, the economy, or the budget, but rather to let you know how I feel about Governor Walker the man.
When first meeting Scott Walker in 2009 I immediately sensed that this is a down-to-earth decent human being! As time passed, I came to realize the extent of his decency.
First and foremost, he is a man who loves his God, his family, his state and his country.
Scott Walker is a man of integrity and a man of principles. He sincerely cares about the people of this State and makes decisions based on what is best for the future of Wisconsin. Scott Walker is a courageous man who strives to always do his best and to keep his promises.
Scott Walker takes the time to reach out to individuals who need a kind word, a moment of prayer or encouragement to face challenges in their lives. He does this quietly, behind the scenes, not in the glare of the television cameras.
As you decide on who will receive your vote in November, I ask that you think about the issues, but just as importantly, I ask that you consider what I’ve learned about Scott Walker. This is the person I want to call Governor. Character matters!
